On Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, Central Street will be closed between Washington Street and Highland Street while the Utilities Division makes sewer repairs.

The Town of Brattleboro is preparing for very cold temperatures this weekend and urges all community members to take necessary precautions.

Snow will be removed from the uncovered parking lots in Brattleboro’s downtown area starting around midnight tonight and into the early morning hours.

Putney Road has reopened to both north and southbound traffic following the closure that occurred during the afternoon hours of Dec. 31, 2025.

Snow and ice will be cleared from select streets in Brattleboro on Dec. 30, starting at 11 p.m. Vehicles parked along the affected streets must be removed or they may be towed at the owner’s expense.
