Town Clerk
The Brattleboro Town Clerk's office is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks. Some of the Town Clerk’s Office responsibilities include: issuing birth, death and marriage license copies; marriage licenses; dog licenses; liquor and tobacco licenses and permits; annual entertainment licenses; and Green Mountain Passport cards. The Office prepares for Elections and Representative Town Meeting, and is responsible for recording Land Records and selling cemetery plots.
The Town Clerk's Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the exception of every election day and the following day.
