The Living Memorial Park Pool hours of operation will be reduced the week of August 4 and August 11 to 1–6 p.m. 

Currently there is more funding for installing EV-charging stations than ever before, in the form of grants both at the state and federal level, and newly expanded tax credits. 

Due to the forecast, the annual pool party has been canceled for 2024.

Due to a theater rental, parking will be limited at Living Memorial Park on July 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Property owners are responsible for trimming and maintaining vegetation on their property if it may interfere with the public right of way.

The Vermont River Conservancy and the Planning Department will be holding a weeding party at the 250 Birge Street Restored Floodplain on July 26 from 4 to 5 p.m. 

The Brattleboro Selectboard will meet on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 6:15 p.m.

Currently the Town of Brattleboro has invested as much as is allowed under the net metering cap that the State of Vermont has established by legislature.

Offices in the Municipal Center and Gibson-Aiken Center will be closed from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on July 17.

Beginning July 15, the sidewalk on Western Avenue from Edward Heights to Greenleaf Street will be replaced. This work is expected to take several weeks. 

The Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Department is offering FREE concerts at the Brattleboro Common on Tuesday evenings in July. Shows begin at 7 p.m. 

Anyone wishing to vote early and in-person may now do so at the Town Clerk’s Office through August 12 at 5 p.m.

Due to inclement weather, this event has been rescheduled to July 10, 2024.

The Brattleboro Selectboard will meet on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 6:15 p.m.

Beginning on Monday, July 8, the Utilities Division will be replacing the sewer main on Greenhill Parkway and Strawberry Lane.
