The Brattleboro Selectboard will meet on January 2, 2024 at 6:15 p.m. in the Selectboard Meeting Room at the Municipal Center, 230 Main Street, and on Zoom.

On Friday, December 22, a contractor will be working in the roadway on Ames Hill at the Robb Farm. The road will be open with restricted traffic and occasional short delays. Please plan accordingly and avoid the area if possible.

The Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Department is excited to announce that they will be offering Winter Mini Camp from Dec. 26-29.

With the amount of rain and snow melt from higher elevations, Brattleboro is experiencing flooding prominently in the West Brattleboro area. We are expected to see high winds, which could cause downed power lines and power outages.

Brattleboro Town offices will close at 12 p.m. on Dec. 22, 2023. Town offices will be closed all day on Dec. 25, 2023 and Jan. 1, 2024. 

Town staff is monitoring a weather event that is expected to begin later in the day on Dec. 17. Weather forecasts indicate an expected rainfall of 1-3 inches starting this evening and extending possibly through tomorrow and into Tuesday.

The Brattleboro Recreation and Parks Department and Brattleboro Bowl are excited to announce that on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 they will be co-hosting a special event.

Full Press Release Central Station and Station 2 were dispatched at 23:28 on Dec. 5, 2023 on a first alarm to 1178 Western Ave. for smoke on the second floor.

On Thursday, December 7, beginning at 8 a.m., the Highway Division will be replacing a failed culvert in front of 961 Meadowbrook Road. The road will be closed during the project.

The Town of Brattleboro is considering improvements to the intersection of Green Street and High Street.
