Land Records
In Vermont, land records are recorded in the town where the property is located. Recorded documents are public record and may be searched at the Town Clerk's Office.
Fees
Recording fees are $15 per page;
flat rate for the Vermont Property Transfer Tax Return, $15.
Recording of map mylars: $25 per sheet.

Brattleboro Land Records are now available online back to October 5, 1813 and Recorded Maps to June 3, 1857. The online records site works best using one of these browsers: Internet Explorer, Edge, or Firefox. If using Google Chrome, it may be necessary to open the option window to print.
