News & AnnouncementsAfter extensive negotiations, the Town has signed a new contract for trash and recycling collection, and will launch a town-owned compost program starting July 6, 2026.
Interstate 91 Exit 3 on- and off-ramps are scheduled to be closed from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. across 12 dates in July.
The Brattleboro Department of Public Works has published an interactive map to help the public track the progress of various projects happening in 2026.
To accommodate the Amtrak event, Bridge & Depot Streets will close from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
This year, the family-friendly summer block party will be happening at Flat Street and the Preston Lot.
Crews will work overnight Friday, June 26 to Saturday, June 27 on U.S. Route 5 and Vermont Route 9.
