Gibson-Aiken Center Temporarily Closed on Aug. 25
The Gibson-Aiken Center will be closed on Monday, August 25, 2025, until 2 p.m. due to a building water repair project.
Tennis, Pickleball Courts to Close for Construction Starting Aug. 25
The tennis and pickleball courts at Living Memorial Park will be closed for construction beginning Aug. 25. Indoor courts will be available at select times.
Skating FUNdamentals 2025-26 Season
The Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Department is hosting two sessions of Ice Skating “FUN”damentals this upcoming skating season.
Free Flu & Covid Vaccine Clinic for Older Adults
The Brattleboro Senior Center is accepting registrations for its free flu and covid vaccination clinic. The registration deadline is Sept. 3.
Annual Duck Derby is Aug. 13!
The Recreation & Parks Department will be hosting its annual Duck Derby fundraiser on Aug. 13 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Living Memorial Park pool.

Tree Maintenance Underway Through Urban and Community Forestry Grant
The work will include pruning and cabling of healthy trees to lengthen their lives, and the removal of any dead trees in seven Brattleboro parks.

A Note About Lost/Abandoned Items on Town Property
While removing an item from Town property, if it's determined to be something other than garbage that is not a risk to our staff, we will retain the item for 14 days before disposing it.
