The Recreation and Parks Department provides both active and passive recreational opportunities through program planning and park facilities. The Recreation & Parks programs and facilities are the heart of our community, refreshing and rejuvenating our citizens, energizing our economy, improving our environmental health and connecting us as families and as a community. News & AnnouncementsRec & Parks is ringing in the holidays with special programs, including events happening during the winter school break and New Year's Eve.
The Town Manager's Office and Finance Department will have irregular hours during the last two weeks of the year.
Rec & Parks is offering a variety of programs, events, and activities throughout fall 2025 through winter 2026.
Rec & Parks will close Morningside Cemetery for the winter on Dec. 1, 2025.
Chair Yoga with Martina is scheduled on Mondays and Fridays from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Brattleboro Senior Center.
