Snow will be removed from the parking lots in Brattleboro’s downtown area on Feb. 27 after 11 p.m.

Snow and ice will be cleared from select streets in Brattleboro on Monday, February 24, 2025, starting at 10 p.m.

Snow will be cleared from select parking lots and streets in downtown Brattleboro on Feb. 19 after 11 p.m.

Snow and ice will be cleared from parking lots and streets in downtown Brattleboro on Feb. 18 after 11 p.m.

As the snowfall changes to sleet and freezing rain, the conditions of the roadways could change drastically in a short period of time.

In observance of Presidents’ Day, all Brattleboro Town offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17, with the exception of emergency services.

Snow and ice will be cleared from parking lots and streets in downtown Brattleboro on Feb. 10 after 11 p.m.

The winter parking ban will go into effect from Nov. 15, 2024 through April 15, 2025. 

Snow will be cleared from Main Street, Park Place, Linden Street, Grove Street, Elliot Street, and Flat Street.

Snow and ice will be removed from parking lots during the night of Jan. 22. Please move cars out of these lots overnight.

Town offices will be closed on Jan. 20, with the exception of emergency services.

The Town is offering free parking downtown on Dec. 20-22 and again on Dec. 27-29.

In observance of Thanksgiving, all Town offices will be closed on Nov. 29 & 29, with the exception of emergency services.

The Town of Brattleboro will be transitioning to a new parking system beginning November 21, 2024.

In observance of Veterans Day, all Brattleboro Town Offices will be closed on Nov. 11, with the exception of emergency services.

In observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, all Town offices will be closed on Monday, October 14, 2024, with the exception of emergency services.

In observance of Labor Day, all Town offices will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024, with the exception of emergency services. Parking is free at all metered spaces and in the pay-and-display lots on Sunday, September 1, and Monday, September 2. All other violations will be enforced. Brooks Memorial Library will be closed on Sunday, September 1 and Monday, September 2. Trash, recycling and composting WILL NOT be picked up on Monday, September 2, 2024. All curbside collections will be delayed by one day all week.

In observance of the July 4th holiday, all Town offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024, with the exception of emergency services.

On June 21, there will be no MOOver services on Flat Street and the Parking Enforcement Office will be closed. 

On Monday, June 3, the third-floor deck of the Transportation Center will be partially closed from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. to allow for construction. 

Please be advised that the top floor of the Transportation Center has been closed for maintenance starting March 22, 2024.

In observance of Presidents’ Day, all Brattleboro Town offices will be closed on Monday, February 19, 2024.

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, all Brattleboro Town offices will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024, with the exception of emergency services.

In Observance of Thanksgiving all Town Offices will be closed on Thursday, November 23, 2023, and Friday, November 24, 2023, with the exception of emergency services.

The winter parking ban will go into effect, starting Wednesday, November 15, 2023. This ban will remain in effect until April 15, 2024.

In observance of Veterans Day, all Brattleboro Town Offices will be closed on Friday, November 10, 2023, with the exception of emergency services.
