On Feb. 6, the Selectboard will visit the bridge at Dettman Drive at 4 p.m. and reconvene at the Selectboard Meeting Room at 6 p.m.

The Vermont Arts Council is now accepting applications for its Creation Grant and Animating Infrastructure Grant programs.

Dog and wolf-hybrid licenses are available for 2024. 

Rec & Parks is offering additional hours on Jan. 22 for Open Gym, the Game Room, and public skating.

On Wednesday, January 17, contractors for the New Hampshire Bridge Project will be moving a steel structure from New Hampshire to Depot Street on the Vermont side of the existing bridge.

The Brattleboro Selectboard will meet on January 16, 2024 at 6:15 p.m. in the Selectboard Meeting Room at the Municipal Center, 230 Main Street, and on Zoom. 

Youth indoor soccer, chess, and fencing will begin this February.

Crews from both stations were responded to a structure fire on Clark Street during the late afternoon of January 9.

The Covid-19 Vaccine clinic initially scheduled for Jan. 16 was canceled.

The Brattleboro Emergency Management group is watching two storms this week that could impact our area. 

A winter storm watch has been issued for southern Vermont from the afternoon of Saturday, January 6 through the evening of Sunday, January 7. Heavy snow and high winds are in the forecast.

The Brattleboro Selectboard will hold a special meeting on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. in the Selectboard Meeting Room at the Municipal Center. The public may also participate in the meeting over Zoom. 

The Annual BHA Hockey Tournament will affect the regular schedule at the Nelson Withington Skating Facility on Jan. 5-7 and 10.

The Town of Brattleboro is seeking a qualified Consultant to work closely with local and state partners in completing a safety study, corridor plan, and stormwater master planning process for Canal Street/Route 5.

On Wednesday, January 3, the Highway Division will be replacing a failed culvert on Goodenough Road.
