Sunset Lake Road Closure on Sept. 25
The Town of Brattleboro Department of Public Works would like to inform the public of a temporary closure of Sunset Lake Road on Friday, September 25, 2026, to replace a failed culvert pipe.
Sunset Lake Road will be closed to through traffic between 1320 and 1420 Sunset Lake Road from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. During the closure, anyone needing to access properties between 1420 Sunset Lake Road and the Dummerston town line will need to approach from the Dummerston end of Sunset Lake Road.
After 11 a.m., work is expected to be completed under alternating one-lane traffic, and no additional full road closures are currently anticipated.
