The Town will be modifying its parking zones on Sept. 3, 2025. To prepare for this transition, parking will be free on Sept. 2.

Finance, Town Clerk's Office Closed Aug. 26 from 12-2 p.m.

Labor Day Closures
In observance of Labor Day, all Town offices will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025, with the exception of emergency services.
Burn Ban Lifted
The Brattleboro Fire Department has lifted the burn ban, which became effective on Aug. 11.
Roadway Crack Sealing Work Scheduled to Begin Aug. 27
The Town has hired a private contractor to complete crack sealing work on various road surfaces throughout town.

Burn Ban in Effect Starting Aug. 11
Effective immediately, all outdoor burning is prohibited, including brush piles, campfires, and burn barrels.
Lower Canal Street Emergency Repairs
The Utilities Division is working to locate a utility issue in the roadway at the intersection of Main Street, Canal Street, South Main Street and Route 142 (Vernon Street). Motorists are asked to avoid travel in the area if possible.
