Winter Carnival 2026 Schedule

The Brattleboro Winter Carnival returns to Brattleboro this February! The Carnival includes events and activities for the whole family from February 20 through March 1.

The 2026 schedule is below. For more information and updates, check out the Winter Carnival website or follow them on Facebook.
 

Friday, February 20

6 – 8 p.m. Teen Paint & Sip, Gibson Aiken Center, pre-register here.


Saturday, February 21

10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Winter Carnival Outdoor Fun Day at Living Memorial Park: Free Snowmobile Rides, $1 skating ($3 rentals), $5 skiing and snowboarding and much more! See program for times.

10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Skiing and snowboarding at Brattleboro Ski Hill, $5 per person, weather permitting.

Noon – 2 p.m. Sugar-on-Snow at Living Memorial Park, $5. Hosted by the Brattleboro Rotary Club. Special thanks to Robb Family Farm and the Guilford Country Store. 

1 – 4 p.m. Sleigh Rides at Wild Carrot Farm, Upper Dummerston Rd. $6 kids, $12 adults, under 2 years free.

5 – 9 p.m. Teen Street returns to Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro; teen event but all are welcome.

8 p.m. to Midnight. '90s Dance Party with DJ Chase, American Legion Brattleboro Post 5, $10/person, ages 18 and up.
 

Sunday, February 22

8 – 11 a.m. Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Elks, 75 Putney Road, $6 adults, $4 ages 6-12, 5 and under free.

Noon – 4 p.m. Skiing and snowboarding at Brattleboro Ski Hill, $5 per person, weather permitting.

1 – 4 p.m. Sleigh Rides at Wild Carrot Farm Upper Dummerston Road. $6 kids, $12 adults, under 2 years free.

2 – 4 p.m. Glow Skate at Nelson Withington Skating Facility, bring your best glow accessories to win a prize, $5/person, skate rentals $3.

7 – 9 p.m. Glow Skate at Nelson Withington Skating Facility, bring your best glow accessories to win a prize, $5/person, skate rentals $3.


Monday, February 23

9:30 a.m. Jr. Olympics Downhill Ski & Snowboard Races at Living Memorial Park. Registration is at 9 a.m. SHARP.

11 a.m. Latchis Theater Kidsfest Movies - $1 movies, call Latchis at 802-246-2020 for details.

Noon – 4 p.m. Skiing and Snowboarding at Brattleboro Ski Hill, $5 per person, weather permitting.

12:30 – 2:30 p.m. Public Skating at Nelson Withington Skating Facility, regular rates, skate rentals $3.

1 – 4 p.m. Sleigh Rides at Wild Carrot Farm, Upper Dummerston Rd. $6 kids, $12 adults, under 2 years free.

6 – 8 p.m. Family BINGO Night at the American Legion, 32 Linden St, $5/card for adults, $3/card for
children 12 and under. Doors open at 5:00 pm, food and cash bar available.

7 – 8 p.m. Winter Carnival Concert with the Windham Philharmonic at the Latchis Theater, entrance by donation.


Tuesday, February 24

10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Carnival Bowling Day at the Brattleboro Bowl, $12 + tax, includes two games, shoe rental, and lunch.

11 a.m. Latchis Theater Kidsfest Movies. $1 movies, call Latchis at 802-246-2020 for details. 

Noon – 4 p.m. Skiing and Snowboarding at Brattleboro Ski Hill, $5 per person, weather permitting. 

12:30 – 2:30 p.m. Public Skating at Nelson Withington Skating Facility, regular rates, skate rentals $3.

7 p.m. Adult Dodgeball Tournament, Brattleboro Union High School gym, minimum of six people per team, pre-registration required, doors open at 6:30 p.m. See program for details.
 

Wednesday, February 25

11 a.m. Latchis Theater Kidsfest Movies. $1 movies, call Latchis at 802-246-2020 for details.

Noon – 4 p.m. Skiing and Snowboarding at Brattleboro Ski Hill, $5 per person, weather permitting. 

12:30 – 2:30 p.m. Public Skating at Nelson Withington Skating Facility, regular rates, skate rentals $3

2:30 p.m. Junior Olympics Skating Races at the Nelson Withington Skating Facility. Registration 2 p.m. SHARP. 
 

Thursday, February 26

9 a.m. – Noon. Brattleboro Food Co-op Kids Cooking Class: Kettle Corn and Hot Cocoa, drop-in activity, FREE.

10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Clothespin Scavenger Hunt at BOC, Kids up to 13 years old. See program for details.

10:30 – 11:30 a.m. To the Moon and Back at Brooks Memorial Library, doors open at 10 a.m., FREE.

11 a.m. Latchis Theater Kidsfest Movies. $1 movies, call Latchis at 802-246-2020 for details.

Noon – 4 p.m. Skiing and Snowboarding at Brattleboro Ski Hill, $5 per person, weather permitting. 

12:30 – 2:30 p.m. Public Skating at Nelson Withington Skating Facility, regular rates, skate rentals $3. 

5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Chili Cook-off held at Bar 580, $6 adults, $4 ages 10 & under. Music by Ernesto Sanchez. 


Friday, February 27

10 a.m. – 3 p.m. 2-FOR-1 Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Day at BOC, adults $15, ages 6-25 $10, ages 5 & under free, BOC members may bring a friend to ski/snowshoe for FREE.

11 a.m. Latchis Theater Kidsfest Movies. $1 movies, call Latchis at 802-246-2020 for details. 

12:30 – 2:30 p.m. Public Skating at Nelson Withington Skating Facility, regular rates, skate rentals $3.

4 – 9 p.m. Skiing and Snowboarding at Brattleboro Ski Hill, $5 per person, weather permitting.

Saturday, February 28

10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Indoor Family Fun Day at Brattleboro Area Middle School Gym, $3/child 3+, co-sponsored by C&S. 

10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Skiing and Snowboarding at Brattleboro Ski Hill, $5 per person,weather permitting. 

1 – 4 p.m. Sleigh Rides at Wild Carrot Farm, Upper Dummerston Road. $6 kids, $12 adults, under 2 years free.
 

Sunday, March 1

Noon – 4 p.m. Skiing and Snowboarding at Brattleboro Ski Hill, $5 per person, weather permitting.

4:10 – 5:10 p.m. Withington Memorial Hockey Cup, BHA Squirts hosting TBD at the Nelson Withington
Skating Facility, FREE.

5 – 8 p.m. Granite State Stomp Line Dancing at American Legion, 32 Linden St., $10 admission.
