Skating FUNdamentals 2025-26 Season
The Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Department is hosting two sessions of Ice Skating “FUN”damentals this upcoming skating season. Stacey Chickering, Suzanne McCaughtry, and Megan Pratt will be teaching the skating lessons. Each session requires a minimum of 15 skaters to run.
Time: 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays only.
Session 1 will run from October 28, 2025 to December 16, 2025.
Session 2 will run from January 6, 2026 to March 3, 2026.
The fee per session is $126 for Brattleboro residents and $141 for non-Brattleboro residents. (The price includes lessons and practice time.)
This hour-long class includes lessons and practice time. Skate rentals are available for $3, but are not included in the lesson fee. Please make sure your skater wears gloves, a hat, and warm clothes daily. Helmets are encouraged for beginners.
We ask that parents remain at the ice rink during the lesson. Please note that parents are not permitted on the ice during lessons.
Registration
Register online or in person Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to noon, or 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Gibson-Aiken Center beginning August 5, 2024.
