Join us for an evening of swords and boards, magic and mayhem, and far too many dice to be reasonable! This ongoing weekly program is designed for teens and adults (16+) who enjoy tabletop role-playing games and gaming in general. We run short workshops covering the basics of Dungeons & Dragons 5E character creation for new players, and weekly games based around 4 to 6 sessions tied into a larger story arc, and occasional one-shots for new players and seasoned adventurers alike to learn basics and enjoy delving into a world of magic, mythology, and of course, plenty of dragons. Be sure to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated, and feel welcome to bring your favorite dice or other D&D accessories. Dice will be available to borrow for anyone new to the game. These games are LGBTQIA+ friendly, welcoming, and operated. When new players join, we'll review basics on table etiquette, consent sheets (for triggers and game themes), and basic expectations/DM style.

Reily Mumpton returns for adult fencing classes! We'll explore an introduction to Western Martial Arts, learning 15th-century German Longsword fencing from the traditions of Hans Talhoffer. Beginners can explore an introduction to historical fencing techniques, while experienced fencers can meet and practice with other local fencers. It's a light class and fencing meet for all.
We'll cover introductory techniques and safety, explore a variety of forms and drills, and have some open sparring/practice time. Longswords, masks and gloves are available for use, as well as some fencing jackets, but we recommend bringing a lite canvas/wool jacket, or sweatshirt as the sizes of available adult jackets vary. Feel free to bring along your own equipment if you have any, and we recommend bringing clean soled shoes and a water bottle to stay hydrated.
