Rec & Parks Offers Additional Programs During Spring Break

The Recreation & Parks Department will be offering expanded programming during the 2026 spring vacation week. 

Additional Open Gym & Game Room: April 20 to April 24 from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Gibson-Aiken Center,  located at 207 Main Street. Open Gym and Game Room is a wonderful, FREE program for children in Kindergarten-12th grade. It is a supervised program that includes basketball, foosball, air hockey, pool, and more in a safe and fun environment for children after school. Please note that those playing basketball should wear clean indoor shoes.

Bowling: On Tuesday, April 21, Brooks and Brattleborow Bowl will co-host a special bowling event. Brattleboro Bowl will be offering two games of bowling, shoe rental, a hot dog, and a drink for just $12 per person between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. This event is open to children and adults of all ages. Please note that children under the age of 10 must be with an adult.

Movie Matinee: Rec & Parks will be offering a FREE Movie Matinee on Wednesday, April 22, at 2 p.m. We will be showing the film “Orion and the Dark” and serving free popcorn! The film is rated PG and all are welcome at the Gibson-Aiken Center, Senior Center Lounge.
