Skating Rink Opens for Season on Oct. 25
Break out the skates! The Nelson Withington Skating Facility will open for the season on Saturday, October 25, 2025, and close on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

And mark your calendars: Rec & Parks will be celebrating the the 50th anniversary of the Nelson Withington Skating Facility on Sunday, Nov. 2! NECCA will be visiting the rink from 1 to 4 p.m. for a special event. Join the vibrant clown community from NECCA and Anima Mundi arts in a silly open skate. Admission to the rink is free during this event. Free skate rentals for anyone who shows up in a clown costume! This event is hosted by Nettie Lane and Annabelle.
