The Town of Brattleboro wishes you a happy holiday season! View the sections below for updates on schedule changes across Town departments.
Town Manager's Office
The Brattleboro Town Manager’s Office will be closed from Monday, Dec. 22, to Monday, Dec. 29, 2025. To get in touch with the office during that time, please email [email protected].
Finance Department
The Finance Department will be closed from Dec. 22 to Dec. 26, 2025. The department will reopen on Dec. 29, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.
The Finance Department will also be closed from Dec. 31, 2025, to Jan. 2, 2026. The department will reopen on Jan. 5, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
Recreation & Parks Department

The Nelson Withington Skating Facility will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. There will be additional public skating hours during the holiday season.
- Dec. 26, 29, 30, 31 & Jan. 2: 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Dec. 31: 6 to 9 p.m.
Due to the Annual BHA Hockey Tournament, the skating facility schedule has been adjusted as follows:
- Jan. 2: No public skating from 7 to 9 p.m.; No open adult hockey from 9:15 to 10:15 p.m.
- Jan. 3: No stick time from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.; No public skating from 1:30 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
- Jan. 4: No speed skating from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.; No public skating from 1 to 4 p.m. There will be public skating on Jan. 4 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Free Holiday Parking
Parking in Downtown Brattleboro is FREE Dec. 18 through Dec. 25, 2025. Parking will also be free on New Year's Day, Jan. 1, 2026.
