Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, crews will be off the project by noon on Wednesday, Nov. 26.

Daytime single-lane closures are scheduled to continue next week on U.S. 5 in Dummerston progressing south Monday through Wednesday. Flaggers will direct alternating traffic patterns through the work zones.

Construction Activities

Brattleboro NH PC 25(6)

Crews will be working to remove construction approach signs next week during the day.

Brattleboro-Putney STP PS 25(11)

Between Vermont Avenue and Noah's Lane, crews are finishing up their final work items. Much of this work is weather dependent and the contractor has been allowed to work earlier in the afternoon, when temperatures are more favorable, to complete the final painting. Whatever cannot be accomplished by the end of this week will continue next week before the holiday.

Crews are making progress on the ditch line work on U.S. 5 during the day. They have continue to coordinate their work zone with the power company and work from north to south. They plan to work Monday through Wednesday on this and return after the Thanksgiving holiday to finish up in the area.
