Construction Activities
Crews continue to measure decibel levels with noise monitoring equipment through the work area.
Brattleboro NH PC 25(6)
The Class 1 paving project is finishing up throughout the downtown. Work to be done includes hand painting (symbols, stop bars, crosswalks, etc.), signal work, sign installation, sidewalk work, and some driveways. VT 9 (Western Avenue and High Street) in particular will be an active work zone.
Brattleboro-Putney STP PS 25(11)
Between Vermont Avenue and Noah's Lane, crews will work on bridge joints and the painting operation will move to this location after paint is complete in the downtown area.
Once this section is complete and in the next few weeks, crews plan to move the active work zone from night shift to day shift and to continue to make progress on U.S. 5 from the Brattleboro/Dummerston town line north toward Putney.
