In-person services will be unavailable. The department will reopen on Wednesday, May 22 at 8:30 a.m.
Prospect Street Closure on May 14
On May 14, the Utilities Division will be replacing a water valve in front of 136 Prospect Street. The road will be closed between Washington Street and Central Street from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Upper Dummerston Road Closure on March 19, 2024
On Tuesday, March 19, the Brattleboro Highway Division will replace a failed culvert on Upper Dummerston Road, near House #1111.
Temporary Bridge Street/Route 119 Closure
On Wednesday, January 17, contractors for the New Hampshire Bridge Project will be moving a steel structure from New Hampshire to Depot Street on the Vermont side of the existing bridge.

The Brattleboro Emergency Management group is watching two storms this week that could impact our area.
Ames Hill Road Closure – Dec. 22, 2023
On Friday, December 22, a contractor will be working in the roadway on Ames Hill at the Robb Farm. The road will be open with restricted traffic and occasional short delays. Please plan accordingly and avoid the area if possible.
