Selectboard Site Visit and Public Hearing – Feb. 6
The Brattleboro Selectboard will be holding a site visit on February 6 at 4 p.m. at Dettman Drive. Following the site visit, the Selectboard will reconvene at 6 p.m. in the Selectboard Meeting Room at the Municipal Center for a hearing on the matter. The hearing will begin at 6:15 p.m. or as soon as the Selectboard and interested persons return from the site visit. The purpose of the hearing is to hear all persons interested in said laying out of Dettman Drive as a Class 3 Town public highway.

PUBLIC NOTICE
TOWN OF BRATTLEBORO
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Selectboard of the Town of Brattleboro proposes, pursuant to Title 19 Vermont Statutes Annotated, Chapter 7, and pursuant to the Brattleboro Town Charter, Article IV, Section 6(E), to lay out and establish as a Class 3 Town highway Dettman Drive, from its intersection with Vermont State Route 9 to a point on the north side of the bridge, said point being the northerly side of a so-called “hammerhead” turn around at the intersection of Dettman Drive with Village Drive.
THEREFORE, pursuant to Title 19 V.S.A. Chapter 7, you are hereby notified that a site visit will be held by the Selectboard for the Town of Brattleboro on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, commencing at 4:00 p.m. at Dettman Drive, Brattleboro, Vermont.
The Selectboard shall reconvene in the Selectboard Meeting Room at the Municipal Center, 230 Main Street, Brattleboro, after the site visit for a hearing on the matter. The hearing shall begin at 6:15 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the Selectboard and interested persons return from the site visit. The purpose of the hearing shall be to hear all persons interested in said laying out of Dettman drive as a Class 3 Town public highway.
