For further assistance, contact the Town Clerk's Office, which is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. The office is closed to the public on Wednesdays, every election day, the day following all elections, and the Monday prior to Town Meeting Day.
Cemeteries
The Town of Brattleboro owns and maintains 5 of the 11 cemeteries in town.
- Barrows Road Cemetery
- Carpenter Cemetery (Hamilton Road)
- Glen Street Cemetery
- Morningside Cemetery
- Prospect Hill Cemetery
Of the 5 cemeteries that the town maintains, only Morningside is still open for new lot purchases. To purchase a lot in Morningside Cemetery, or for information on family plot locations in any of the town owned cemeteries contact the Brattleboro Town Clerk's office at 802-251-8157.
