FY25 Budget Timeline
This year’s new budget process has the goals of being more participatory for considering spending proposals, reducing the number of meetings dedicated to line-item review, and focusing the Selectboard’s work on important policy-level decisions and vision regarding the development of a proposed budget plan. To this end, staff have been implementing innovations such as a Budget Engagement Open House with Department Heads, an online budget book available to everyone through OpenGov, and a new schedule for Selectboard budget-related meetings.
