Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed Interim Zoning Bylaw
Notice is hereby given that the Brattleboro Selectboard will hold a public hearing on a proposed Interim Zoning Bylaw pursuant to 24 VSA §4415 and 4444. The public hearing date is December 22, 2025, at 6:15 p.m. in the Selectboard meeting room of the Municipal Center at 230 Main Street, Brattleboro.
The purpose of the hearing is to take public comments on the draft Interim Zoning Bylaw to make the ‘Social Assistance and Charitable Service’ land use a conditional use in some zoning districts for the purposes of protecting public safety, health, and general welfare and to provide for orderly physical and economic growth. The proposed Interim Zoning Bylaw will affect land in the following zoning districts: Urban Center, Village Center, Neighborhood Center, Mixed Use, and Institutional as shown on the Zoning District Map.
