Crews will continue to adjust drainage and utility structures throughout the project limits as needed, monitoring the decibel levels of this operation. Sidewalk work is anticipated to start in the next week or two.
U.S. Route 5: Brattleboro to Putney (Day Work)
Final pavement on U.S. 5 should be complete by end of shift today. The contractor anticipates paving driveway aprons next week. Crews have a scheduled end of shift at 4:30 p.m., however due to weather and physical location, operations can exceed that timeframe and traffic control may be present after the end of shift.
U.S. Route 5: Brattleboro (Night Work)
Work will continue on U.S. 5 from Noah's Lane intersection to just south of the Exit 3 roundabout. The contractor will begin surface preparation; where they repair potholes in the scarified pavement. They will then progress to paving the initial lift of pavement - the leveling layer.
