
Baseball/Softball Camp 2024
The Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Department will be offering baseball and softball camps this summer at Living Memorial Park on the Lower Softball/Baseball Field.
Baseball
Baseball Session One: July 10 to 14; for ages 6-9 years old.
Baseball Session Two: July 17 to 21; for those 10-12 years old.
Please note both sessions will run from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee is $130 for Brattleboro residents; $145 for non-Brattleboro residents.
Participants will be trained in the fundamentals of baseball. Each camper will receive personal attention to help improve their skills through the use of proper playing habits. Experienced coaches will use their knowledge to help players take the next step in their baseball development. All participants must come with a glove, cleats/sneakers, and a bat if you own one.
A minimum of 10 participants is required, and a max of 24 will be accepted.
Softball
Softball Session: July 8 to 12 from 9 a.m. to noon; for those in third through eighth grade.
The fee is $130 for Brattleboro residents; $145 for non-Brattleboro residents. The instructors for this camp are Jay Cudworth and Erin Cooke.
With a focus on fundamentals, this softball camp will help participants develop good habits and proper technique that players will be able to utilize on the softball field. Experienced coaches will help increase knowledge of the game, and build confidence at the plate. All participants are required to come with glove, cleats or sneakers, bat (if you own one), water bottle, and a snack for a morning break.
A minimum of 12 participants is required, and a max of 24 will be accepted.

1.) Register in person Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon & 1 to 4:30 p.m. beginning March 27 at the Gibson-Aiken Center.
