2024 Business Licenses are Due
Please note that business licenses were due on March 15, 2024. If you have not yet applied for a new business license or renewed a license, the fee is now $75. After April 15, 2024, the fee will increase to $175.
Business owners can apply for a new license or renew a license online.
First, create an account in the Town’s online portal. After creating an account, you can login using your credentials and fill out the form before making a payment.
You may also pay by cash or check at the Assessor’s Office. If paying by physical check, please send to: Brattleboro Office of Assessment, 230 Main Street, Suite 101, Brattleboro, VT 05301. Once we receive your check, we will email or mail your renewed license to you.
The Assessor’s Office will mail or email your license, which must be prominently displayed at your place of business once we receive confirmation of the online form and payment.
