Special Representative Town Meeting on Dec. 12, 2024
The legal voters qualified to vote in Representative Town Meeting are hereby notified and warned to meet in the gymnasium of the Academy School (860 Western Avenue) on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 6 p.m. to act on the Articles listed below.
ARTICLE 1: To see if the Town will dissaprove the amendment to the Brattleboro Code of Ordinance, Chapter 13, Article 9, Acceptable Community Conduct, as adopted by the Selectboard on September 17, 2024.
ARTICLE 2: To transact any other business that may lawfully come before the meeting.

District Caucuses
All three Brattleboro Districts, Districts 7, 8 & 9, will caucus just prior to the Special Representative Town Meeting on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 5:15 p.m. at Academy School.
District 7 has 16 seats to appoint, District 8 has 7 seats to appoint, and District 9 has 3 seats to appoint. View the member list here.
Any residents from these districts interested in being considered for this position should be present at Thursday’s 5:15 p.m. caucus. Classroom locations at Academy School for each caucus will be posted in the school lobby that evening. The public is invited to attend their district’s caucus and stay for the Special Representative Town Meeting.
