Support Rec & Parks Programs During a Local Shredding Event
Brattleboro Savings & Loan will be hosting a Community Shred Day on Saturday, May 30 from 9 a.m. to noon at its 221 Main Street location. Proceeds from this event will support Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Department summer programming!
Brattleboro Savings & Loan offers this service each year to help prevent Vermonters from joining the millions of Americans who fall prey to identity theft each year. In addition to the precautionary reasoning for Shred Day, the company who provides the mobile shred truck, SecurShred, will recycle all of that paper.
At last year’s event, 6,000 pounds of paper was shredded, which was later processed into tissues and other paper products by a U.S. paper mill.

• This is a FREE event and open to the public
