Join BPD for National Night Out!

The Brattleboro Police Department is inviting the public to celebrate National Night Out! This family-friendly event will be happening on Tuesday, August 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Brattleboro Common. This is a rain or shine event.

The event will include:

  • Blueberry Haus’ ice cream truck will be there, and the first 250 kids can get a free ice cream coupon from BPD Officers.

  • Grab a bite from 802 Soul Kitchen.

  • A Touch-a-Truck Event, including Fire, EMS, Larock Construction vehicles, the VT Army National Guard, Autism Awareness Truck from VT Truck & trailer repair, and more! 

  • Bounce Above the Rest Inflatables is bringing a bounce house & dunk tank (dunk your favorite Officer!)

  • Mini-petting zoo courtesy LSO Equine Rescue.

  • ID fingerprint kits for kids with the Kiwanis Club.

  • Meet reps from Project C.A.R.E.

  • Music by Shawn Smith.

  • Chat with Chief Hardy & members of the BPD

  • ...and more! 

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police/community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Neighborhoods throughout America will be hosting block parties on the first Tuesday in August. National Night Out is an opportunity to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
