Upper Level of Brooks Memorial Library Closed May 6-7
The top floor of Brooks Memorial Library will be closed to all occupancy on Wednesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 7, 2026, due to construction.
The children and teen areas, restrooms, and community room will all be inaccessible during this time. A small browsing collection of books for children and teens and books on reserve will be available on the ground level of the building.
“We regret the disruption in service, but we look forward to the improvement of our exterior space, which will expand access for all," said Library Director Starr LaTronica.
This project is supported by the American Rescue Plan Act Coronavirus Capital Projects Fund (CPF) administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury as part of an award totaling $16.4 million for capital improvements to Vermont’s public libraries.
