Brattleboro Seeks Human Services Committee Members
The Brattleboro Selectboard is seeking Brattleboro residents to serve on the Human Services Committee, which reviews requests for human services funding and recommends how Town funds should be distributed to service providers.
Residents are encouraged to apply by the end of the day on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2026. The Selectboard plans to appoint members at its regular meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 17.

The Selectboard will include a proposed human services funding amount for fiscal year 2028 in the budget it presents at Town Meeting, where voters will determine the total funding available. Following Town Meeting, the Human Services Committee will complete its review, prioritize funding requests, and recommend final allocations to the Selectboard before July 1, 2027.
