Suggested questions for providing feedback:
• Considering healthcare and other significant cost increases, what do you think is a reasonable range for tax rate increase?
• Should we reduce services through workforce attrition, and what reductions in services would you be willing to accept in exchange?
• What do you want to see changed in the FY27 budget?
Background
A proposed FY27 General Fund budget was presented to the Selectboard during its regular meeting on Nov. 4. On Wednesday, Nov. 12, the Selectboard will hold the second listening session of the budget season at Brooks Memorial Library at 6:15 p.m. You can view the first listening session here.
The conversation will continue during Selectboard meetings throughout the remainder of 2025 and into early 2026. Future updates about the FY27 budget process will be available at Brattleboro.gov/fy27budget.
