FY26 Budget Redevelopment Schedule
Following the Representative Town Meeting’s (RTM) vote not to approve the Town of Brattleboro’s proposed FY26 budget, the newly seated Selectboard will begin work to revise and resubmit a new budget proposal.
The Selectboard will begin the process by hosting a listening session at the ground floor of Brooks Memorial Library on Tuesday, April 8 at 6:15 p.m. The public can also attend this meeting on Zoom (meeting credentials on the agenda). The meeting will be broadcast live courtesy BCTV. Watch on BCTV's website, Facebook page, or YouTube channel.
There will be a special Selectboard meeting on Thursday, April 10 to continue the discussion. This meeting will be held in the Selectboard Meeting Room in the Municipal Center and on Zoom starting at 6:15 p.m.
The budget redevelopment process will continue through the month of April. Agendas for future meetings will be posted on the Selectboard page and calendar. Members of the public are encouraged to attend. Agendas for the first two sessions are below.
