A Community Conversation on Opioid Use Disorder
Join the Vermont Association for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery and Town of Brattleboro for an open, interactive community conversation about opioid use disorder, how we support people with substance use disorder (SUD) and their families, and how we can work together to reduce stigma in our communities.
This is NOT a lecture or academic workshop — it's a real conversation, guided by video interviews of people with lived experience, designed to spark meaningful dialogue and connection.
When: June 9 from 9a.m. to noon
Where: Selectboard Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, 230 Main St., Brattleboro, VT
Thinking about becoming a facilitator? Attending this session satisfies the prerequisite for the free Facilitator Leader Training, which equips you to bring these conversations to your own community. This is your first step!
Presented by The Town of Brattleboro & VAMHAR in partnership with The Recovery Center of Excellence and supported by HRSA.
