The Library Children's Room is Undergoing Construction
After many years and various attempts, the Children's Room will be getting an office!
This new office will help staff perform various library tasks such as ordering books, scheduling staff, creating programs, writing reports and working on grants, away from the hustle and bustle of the lively Children's Room.
The construction work will begin on Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, and continue through Friday, Dec. 19. The project will be underway while the library is open, mostly in the morning and early afternoon.
The entire collection will still be available during the construction, though we will be shifting some shelves to make room for the new walls. Our programs will continue as normal.
Please be advised there will be construction noise and painting happening in the Children's Room during this time.
